Justin Gayle, MD

Dr. Gayle was born and raised in College Station. He received his undergraduate degree at Texas A&M University and his medical degree from the Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center in Lubbock, where he served as president of his medical school class. Dr. Gayle completed his residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Texas A&M Health Science Center - Scott & White Memorial Hospital in Temple, where he also served as chief resident.
After practicing in the Woodlands for three years, Dr. Gayle and his family returned to College Station in 1999 to practice medicine in the community where he was raised and still has family.
In 2005, Dr. Gayle felt a calling to help those in our community who are less fortunate and do not have easy access to quality health care. Through a collaborative effort with the College Station Medical Center (CSMC) and the Brazos Valley Community Action Agency, he started the ABC Women & Children’s Clinic. Located across from CSMC, the clinic provides obstetric and pediatric care for mothers and their children in the Brazos Valley. Dr. Gayle serves as the Director of Obstetrics and Women’s Healthcare for the ABC Clinic. He is a tireless advocate for his patients and healthcare in the Brazos Valley.
Dr. Gayle enjoys teaching and working with medical students. He serves as a faculty member of the Texas A&M University College of Medicine. He is actively involved in the College Station Medical Center (CSMC), serving on the Board of Trustees and as the Chief of Obstetrics & Gynecology and Director of Women’s Services. He also serves on the physician leadership group, maternal care committee, and physician liaison committee at CSMC. He has received numerous awards for his practice and leadership including: 2009 CSMC Physician of the Year, named to America’s Top Obstetricians & Gynecologists, 2007-2010 Patients’ Choice Award, and The Eagle Readers’ Choice Award for best OB/GYN in 2011.
Dr. Gayle is married and has three beautiful children. An avid hunter and outdoor enthusiast, you might see him on TV or in magazines, where he promotes spending time in the outdoors with children and family. Dr. Gayle also enjoys sports and is an active supporter of Texas A&M University and A&M athletics.
