Meet Dr. Ryan Walter, M.D. – Women’s Health Medical Director at HealthPoint

Dr. Ryan Walter is a board-certified Obstetrician and Gynecologist with over 16 years of experience serving the Bryan/College Station community. Initially from Dickinson, TX, he pursued his undergraduate education at Texas Christian University, where he graduated Cum Laude while also playing collegiate baseball for the Horned Frogs.

He went on to earn his medical degree from the University of Texas – Houston, located in the Texas Medical Center, before completing his residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Florida. Dr. Walter served as chief resident during his residency and was recognized as Resident Educator of the Year.

In 2003, Dr. Walter married Andrea Patranella Walter, a native of Bryan, TX. Together, they have three children: Carson, Cameron, and Connor. When he is not caring for patients, Dr. Walter enjoys spending time with his family and engaging in the community.
