Meet Erin Horne, MA, LPC
Erin Horne, MA, LPC, started with HealthPoint in August, 2019. She provides counseling to OB and pediatric patients at the ABC, Memorial and Madisonville clinics, as well as TeleMedicine Visits.
As a child, Erin grew up in Houston, TX where she graduated from high school and began college. She received her BS in Education from Baylor University, MA in Counseling from Prairie View A&M, and finished the credits to receive her LPC from Liberty University.
Erin became licensed as a Professional Counselor while working as a school counselor at Leon ISD. She worked as a school counselor for 13 years. After receiving her LPC, she began a private practice, Logos Counseling, while also continuing her primary position as a school counselor. In 2017, she began to focus on her private practice and went into the area schools of Leon, Normangee, Franklin, Mexia, Centerville, Groesbeck, Madisonville, Bryan and College Station to counsel children who were in the custody of Child Protective Services. She also met with adults needing to complete services for CPS in Madison, Brazos, Leon and Robertson County. Since she lives in a rural town, she saw the need and lack of mental and behavioral health counselors in those rural areas and wanted to help.
