Dr. Renato Ang is a board-certified pediatrician with more than 25 years of experience caring for children from infancy through adolescence. He currently provides pediatric primary care at HealthPoint’s ABC Clinic in College Station, Texas. With a strong belief in preventive care, continuity, and compassionate service, Dr. Ang is proud to serve families in the Greater Brazos Valley.
Dr. Ang earned his Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of the Philippines, College of Medicine, one of the top medical institutions in Asia. He completed his pediatric internship at Brooklyn Hospital Center and went on to finish his pediatric residency training at Long Island Jewish Medical Center in New York. These experiences shaped his patient-first approach and built a solid foundation in evidence-based, community-centered care.
For the past 25 years, Dr. Ang practiced in Mission, South Texas, where he developed long-standing relationships with patients and families and became known for his gentle demeanor and thoughtful care. His move to HealthPoint reflects his continued dedication to underserved communities and to a model of care that prioritizes access, quality, and equity. He was drawn to HealthPoint’s mission to provide evidence-based healthcare to all, regardless of circumstance, and he is excited to help expand pediatric services in Central Texas.
Dr. Ang is passionate about guiding families through every stage of their child’s development, from routine checkups and vaccinations to managing chronic conditions and developmental concerns. His clinical interests include early childhood development, adolescent wellness, and fostering long-term health through prevention and education.
Outside of work, Dr. Ang enjoys spending time with his family. After living for years near South Padre Island, he still makes time to get outdoors and take relaxing walks on the beach—something that continues to recharge and inspire him.
