Meet Robert Garza, MD
Robert Garza, MD, joined the HealthPoint team in 2020. He is excited to grow the list of happy, healthy patients.
Education:
Dr. Garza attended Rice University and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in biology in 1974. Then he went on to earn his Medical Doctor degree from the University of California at San Diego in 1979. Subsequently, Dr. Garza completed his medical residency in Internal Medicine in June 1982. Finally, in September 1983, he became Board Certified in Internal Medicine.
Professional Career:
Dr. Garza began his career working in the Community Health Center affiliated with the Department of Community Medicine at Baylor College of Medicine from ~ July 1982 thru June 1986. He later opened a solo practice in Corpus Christi, TX where he operated for 9 years. Soon thereafter he moved to Bryan/College Station. To date, Dr. Garza has 43 years of Internal Medicine practice including. His vast experience includes 6 years of hospitalist experience.
